Hyperion 11.2.1 Software Available

When downloading the 11.2.1 installation files from Oracle Software Delivery Cloud, the release number will show as 11.2.0.0.0; however, the downloaded zip files will be release 11.2.1.0.0.
These are the correct files to use if you are going to use these files to either:
- Install an update to your EPM System 11.2.0.0.0 release
- Install a new deployment of EPM System 11.2.1.0.0
If you want to add products or select files to an existing 11.2.0.0.0 deployment, or if you are looking to re-download installation files for release 11.2.0.0.0, please submit a Non-Technical SR with Oracle support, requesting access to the EPM System release 11.2.0.0.0 installation files.

Oracle Enterprise Performance Management System Release 11.2.1.0.000 adds support for Google Chrome web browser, Microsoft Edge web browser, and Windows Server 2016. Check the Oracle Enterprise Performance Management System Certification Matrix for all platform requirements.
EPM System Installer has a new installation type — Apply Update.
- Use Apply Update to move from EPM System Release 11.2.0 to 11.2.1. See Applying an Update to EPM System Products.
- Note:If you apply the update to move from an existing release 11.2.0 installation to release 11.2.1.0.000, you can’t roll back to release 11.2.0.

Hyperion Financial Management HFM 11.2 - How To Edit Metadata file ?

The 11.1.2.3 metadata editor can be used to edit 11.2 metadata as long as it's installed on a supported platform. The same applies for HFM 11.1.2.4.

An HFM metadata editor that supports newer platforms 11.2.x is on the road-map from Oracle

The HFM client 11.1.2.3 can be found in the Oracle Software Delivery Cloud.

Search for "Oracle Enterprise Performance Management System - Client Installers 11.1.2.4.900" and select platform Microsoft Windows (either 32 or 64 bit, the package is the same).

Then download the file V975630-01.zip.

Specifically, the version of the HFM client in that package is 11.1.2.3.502.

Note: if you open the HFM client and go to Help > About, it will reflect the version of the HFM server installed on the same host. Regardless of that, the actual version of the HFM client is still 11.1.2.3.502.

Hyperion EPM 11.2: Supported Version of Microsoft SQL Database Server

SQL Server 2019 is not supported only SQL Server 2016 is supported for EPM release 11.2.0.0
Installing SQL Server 2019 in compatibility mode has not been tested.
