EPM Assistants with AI Agent Studio
EPM Assistants include preconfigured JSON definitions that help you quickly create AI agents in AI Agent Studio. These agents use GenAI to automate tasks and interact with Cloud Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) applications.
You design and manage them in AI Agent Studio, where they communicate with Cloud EPM services through REST APIs.

Business Benefit: This capability enables you to quickly create AI agents to interact in Cloud EPM. AI agents retrieve data, trigger actions, and automate interactions with EPM business processes.
In addition, you can streamline operations, reduce manual effort, and accelerate insight-driven decision-making.
Steps to enable and configure in your Cloud
- Ensure that a Fusion Applications environment with AI Agent Studio enabled is available.
- Assign the Service Administrator role in Cloud EPM.
- Configure federation between the Fusion Applications and Cloud EPM identity domains.
- Create a confidential application in Cloud EPM IAM.
EPM Assistants are downloadable templates for creating custom AI agents that interact with Cloud EPM services using REST APIs.
EPM Assistants include sample agent definitions (for instance, based on a Vision application) that you can use as a starting point to create your own custom AI Agents in AI Agent Studio.
When imported into AI Agent Studio, EPM Assistants automatically create:
- Agent teams – Groups of collaborating agents
- Agents – Individual AI entities performing tasks
- Tools – API-based operations agents can execute
- Business objects – Representations of Cloud EPM data and processes
These templates do not include application-specific configurations. You must customize them to align with your Cloud EPM business process.
