Oracle EPM Cloud update: Important Groovy Changes
Oracle is pausing Cloud EPM monthly updates from 25.11 – 26.03, with updates resuming in 26.04 (April 2026).Looking Ahead to 26.05 (May 2026)
Oracle has flagged two major changes
• New Groovy engine with stricter validation
• Removal of setIPAllowList, getIPAllowList, and the IPAllowList REST API
Why the Groovy update matters?
- Some existing Groovy business rules that work today may fail after the 26.05 update. Oracle strongly recommends validating scripts ahead of time.
Action recommended now
- Run the Groovy Script Validator (available since 25.08)
- Fix any flagged issues
- Fully test Groovy rules before May

Skipping 26.04?
- You can’t self‑skip this update using EPM Automate due to the extended pause. An Oracle Service Request (SR) is required if you plan to opt out.
