Hyperion 11.2 key announcement

Key Announcement
• EPM Architect (EPMA) will NOT available as a foundation component in EPM 11.2 and beyond
• For existing deployments of EPM Architect: – Oracle Data Relationship Management will be offered under a restricted use license to facilitate Oracle Hyperion EPM (on premise only) dimension maintenance – Alternatively convert to “classic”
• A Migration Kit will be published including a whitepaper and scripts to assist with dimension extraction from EPMA to DRM

Hyperion 11.2 announced at Kscope19

On-Premises Release: 11.2 – The Details
• Scheduled for September, 2019
• Technical upgrade – out of place install
• Uplift to FMW 12g release
• Oracle Essbase 11.1.2.4 will still be used for Hyperion EPM 11.2
• Repository Simplification – Replace Foundation services with a simpler RDBMS repository – Content migration for FR/Workspace to RDBMS repository – Streamlines and simplifies infrastructure for the future
• 3rd party certifications* including: – OS: Windows 2012, 2016 (Linux 7 & AIX 7.2 to follow in subsequent PSU) – RDBMS: Oracle 12.2, SQL Server 2017 – Browser: Edge, Chrome, Firefox – JDK 1.8
• Enhancements delivered thru a series of feature bearing PSUs – Modelled on the 11.1.2.4.20x series
