How To Edit Metadata for Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) 11.2

What tool can be used for editing metadata in HFM 11.2? This version does not ship with the old Windows-based Metadata Manager (also known as the metadata editor or the HFM client).

The 11.1.2.3 metadata editor can be used to edit 11.2 metadata as long as it's installed on a supported platform. The same applied for HFM 11.1.2.4. An HFM metadata editor that supports newer platforms is on the roadmap.

Desktop Client For Hyperion HFM In 11.2 ?

There is no desktop client for HFM in 11.2.

The old HFM Windows client is not an officially endorsed solution in 11.2.x

How Increase The Upload Max File Size In Workspace in EPM 11.2.4 (Hyperion)

 Recently came across this "Error: "the request was rejected because its size (XXXXXXX) exceeds the configured maximum (104857600) "

Perform these steps:

1. Increase the value of File Upload Maximum Size setting. In can be found in Workspace in Navigate -> Administer -> Workspace Settings -> Server Settings. The default value is 100MB.

2. Then restart Foundation Services.

 

Note, this setting is new in EPM System 11.2.4. It is not available in EPM System 11.2.0, 11.2.1, 11.2.2 and 11.2.3
