How to Start Services in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) 11.2 On-premise Release?

Below are the order to start the services in EPM 11.2 release.

1. Start WebLogic Admin Server
a. Open Command prompt and go to  <MW_HOME>/user_projects/domains/EPMSystem/bin folder and execute startWeblogic.cmd.
b. If needed, a Windows Service can be created to start the WebLogic Admin Server. Follow the instructions below.
  • On the EPM Foundation Server, create a file called Start_WL_Admin_Server.cmd and update the below scripts.
  • Change the Path and Credentials accordingly.
  • Execute the Start_WL_Admin_Server.cmd. This will create a Windows Service with the name "wlsvc EPMSystem_AdminServer".
  • Start this service to start WebLogic Admin Console

2. Start EPM Services.
a. Start EPM Foundation Service followed by all other services.
b. Launch WebLogic Admin Server console to make sure all the servers are in "Running" state.

3. Start OHS Service
a. Start Node Manager service from service panel- "Oracle Weblogic ohs NodeManager (C_Oracle_MIDDLE~1_ohs_server)"
b. <ORACLE_EPM_INSTANCE>\httpConfig\ohs\bin> startComponent ohs_component
Password = WebLogic Admin Server password

 4. Launch Workspace.
