Per the February 2024 Oracle EPM Update, Oracle is planning to upgrade non-hybrid Essbase version environments to a hybrid Essbase version "within the next 3 months" (assuming Feb - Apr 2024).
This will apply to Financial Consolidation and Close, FreeForm, Planning, Planning Modules, and Tax Reporting applications.
Oracle will be creating an "Essbase Outline Validation" menu option in the Application -> Overview -> Actions menu to analyze & view a list of Member Formulas that need to be fixed to be compatible with hybrid Essbase prior to the switchover.
To check whether your environment is on hybrid or non-hybrid Essbase version, look at the value of "Essbase Version Supports Hybrid Block Storage Option" in the Application -> Actions -> Activity Report ("Yes" = hybrid Essbase version; "No" = non-hybrid Essbase version)
If you are already on a Hybrid Essbase version, you don't have to take any action.
