New Menu Options for Dashboard 2.0 Grids

Dashboard 2.0 now provides three new menu options for grid components in both the dashboard runtime and designer interfaces:

• Analyze
• Open in Smart View
• Spreadsheet Export

Applies to: Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management, Financial Consolidation and Close, FreeForm, Planning, Tax Reporting

The Analyze option enables you to perform ad hoc analysis on a form, the Open in Smart View option lets you work with a form in Smart View, and the Spreadsheet Export option exports data from a form to Microsoft Excel.

Previously, these menu options were available only within forms. 

Now you can access these options directly from a dashboard if the forms are visualized as grids in Dashboard 2.0.

To view the new dashboard options:

1. Open a Dashboard 2.0 dashboard in either the runtime environment or in the dashboard designer interface.
2. Hover over a grid within the dashboard or in the designer workspace to view the toolbar for that grid component.
3. Click the Actions icon (...) to view and select the new menu options.
